Flow

Overview

Flow Distribution creates a selection based on hydraulic particle simulation. It can be very useful for creating highly detailed color or gradient materials.

Parameters

  • Fill Controls the strength of the whole effect.

  • Iterations Sets the number of iterations the simulation runs for. A higher number results in a stronger result.

  • Rain Strength Controls the number of rain droplets that are used in the simulation.

  • Evaporation Causes the droplets to lose a bit of their volume in each step, leading to a fade out to the end of their lifetime.

  • Delta Scales the time step in the simulation. Has an effect on the step size per iteration.

  • Dampening Gives inertia to the droplets, resulting in smoother trails.

  • Softness Controls the area of intersection between selected and unselected regions.
