# Sand

## Overview

The Sand Simulation adds granular sediment to the terrain. The Simulation moves the material from an unstable position downhill until a stable angle is reached and in the process fills up crevices and cracks.

The talus formed at the bottom of a mountain will take on this angle.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Erosion Angle</strong></td><td>The angle at which sediment will become unstable and start slipping downhill.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Spawn Level</strong></td><td>In which level the sediment gets added to the terrain. </td></tr><tr><td><strong>Spawn Amount</strong></td><td>The amount of sediment added to the terrain.</td></tr></tbody></table>
