# Add Debris

As a final layer of detail we use a [Debris Simulation Layer](https://docs.world-creator.com/reference/terrain/simulation-layers/debris). This layer simulates individual pieces of debris rolling down the mountain and settling in the valley. After adding the layer you will see a **Tint** box under the Shape settings. From the presets there, we have chosen a rock-like gradient to give the debris some randomised colours.
