# Render Settings

## Overview

These settings provide control over render settings and terrain parameters for the soil and groundplate.

## Parameters

### Pathtracing

<table><thead><tr><th width="219.9000244140625">Properties</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Max Light Bounces</strong></td><td>The maximum amount a ray can bounce in the scene.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Sample Rejection Threshold</strong></td><td>Suppresses the noise of the pathtracer.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Max Rendered Objects</strong></td><td>The maximum amount of rendered objects.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Auto Performance</strong></td><td>Switches between target frame rate and pixels per frame rendering.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Pixels per Frame</strong></td><td>How many samples are taken per pixel per frame.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Denoiser Enabled</strong></td><td>Enables the denoiser for rendering.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Denoiser Quality</strong></td><td><br>Allows you to switch between <strong>Fast</strong>, <strong>Balanced</strong> and <strong>High</strong> mode.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Prefilter Enabled</strong></td><td>Prefilters the terrain color/normal to get a higher quality denoiser result.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Denoiser Frame Interval</strong></td><td>Controls how often the denoiser processes the image.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Fast Frames</strong></td><td>During refresh renders at a lower resolution to get faster responses. </td></tr><tr><td><strong>Denoiser Blending</strong></td><td>Blends between the denoiser and non denoised result.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Limit Render Samples</strong></td><td>Allows you to limit the number of samples rendered per frame to improve performance.</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Screenshots
