Render Settings
Overview
These settings provide control over render settings and terrain parameters for the soil and groundplate.
Parameters
Pathtracing
Max Light Bounces
The maximum amount a ray can bounce in the scene.
Sample Rejection Threshold
Suppresses the noise of the pathtracer.
Max Rendered Objects
The maximum amount of rendered objects.
Auto Performance
Switches between target frame rate and pixels per frame rendering.
Pixels per Frame
How many samples are taken per pixel per frame.
Denoiser Enabled
Enables the denoiser for rendering.
Denoiser Quality
Allows you to switch between Fast, Balanced and High mode.
Prefilter Enabled
Prefilters the terrain color/normal to get a higher quality denoiser result.
Denoiser Frame Interval
Controls how often the denoiser processes the image.
Fast Frames
During refresh renders at a lower resolution to get faster responses.
Denoiser Blending
Blends between the denoiser and non denoised result.
Limit Render Samples
Allows you to limit the number of samples rendered per frame to improve performance.
Screenshots
Format
Defines the format of the exported screenshot.
Bit Depth
The bit depth of the exported image.
Compression Level
Controls the compression of the export.
Transparent Background
Enables a transparent background.

Terrain
Soil Height
The amount of soil between the lowest point of the terrain and the ground plain.
Soil Color
The color of the soil.
Ground Plate
If enabled, this adds an infinite plane below the soil.
Ground Plate Offset
Allows you to add an additional distance between the bottom of the soil and the ground plane.
Ground Plate Color
The color of the ground plane.
Mip Bias
Controls the Mip level for the ground plane.
Height Blending Smoothness
The global smoothness of displacement height blending.
Displacement Enabled
Enables displacement for terrain materials.
