World Creator 2026.3

New Features / Improvements
Support for Additional GIS Terrain Data Formats World Creator now supports importing several widely used geospatial terrain formats, including GeoTIFF, HGT, DTED, Arc/Info ASCII Grid, VRT, and XYZ.
This allows you to bring real-world elevation data directly into World Creator and use it as the foundation for your terrains. These formats are commonly used in GIS and geospatial applications, making it much easier to integrate accurate terrain data into your workflow.
Import Presets from Previous Versions World Creator now allows you to import and reuse presets from previous versions of the software. This makes it easy to carry over your existing setups, workflows, and configurations when upgrading to a newer version.
With this feature, you can continue working with your familiar presets without having to recreate them from scratch, ensuring a smooth transition between versions.
Terrain Adaptation Based on Placed Objects World Creator now allows the terrain to automatically adapt based on placed objects. This enables the landscape to respond dynamically to objects positioned within the scene, allowing for more natural integration between terrain and assets.
With this feature, you can ensure that objects such as rocks, buildings, or other scene elements interact more seamlessly with the terrain, improving realism and simplifying environment design workflows.
Object Area Distribution
World Creator now introduces a Distribution type based on object-defined areas. This allows you to generate masks or distributions that are directly influenced by the placement of objects within the scene.
By using objects as defining elements, you can control where certain terrain effects, materials, or simulations should appear. This provides a powerful way to create more precise and context-aware terrain behavior around placed assets.
Camera-Based Object Distribution World Creator now supports a Camera Distribution, allowing high-density objects to be directly bound to the camera position. This makes it possible to generate and render large amounts of detailed assets around the camera while keeping distant areas lightweight, improving both visual fidelity and performance.
